The Sanya Joy Plaza is an exhilarating project situated in the heart of Sanya's new CBD, adjacent to a wetland park, and surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes. Our goal was to create a unique, futuristic, and eco-friendly complex that stands out in the unique climate of Hainan Province. We aimed to harmonize the relationship between urban space, architecture, people, and the landscape, ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability through innovative designs while catering to the city's future needs.

The project's architecture adheres to a principle of transitioning from the outskirts to the center, ascending from low to high, to craft a staggered skyline that forms a cascading urban headquarters cluster. This approach ensures each building benefits from excellent views. We opted for light-colored LOW-E glass and aluminum panels for the facade to emphasize texture, aligning with the character of the East Coast Headquarters Economic Zone and reflecting Sanya's coastal and climatic features. This design choice not only gives Sanya Joy Plaza a distinctive identity but also establishes it as a significant landmark. Compared to conventional standalone office structures, Sanya Joy Plaza, through techniques such as folding, grafting, and assembling, establishes an ecological garden-style business cluster that connects people, landscapes, architecture, and activities. A lengthy corridor on the second level breaks the confines of enclosed spaces, fostering an open, interconnected office environment that delivers a unique work experience. The project incorporates a multi-dimensional greening system, including sky gardens, rooftop, and podium greening, significantly reducing energy consumption, enhancing the urban space, and greatly improving the comfort level of the office environment.

The Sanya Joy Plaza has not only become an ecological landmark of Sanya but also created a unique urban headquarters image, marking an innovative breakthrough in Sanya and Hainan Province. By merging ecology, local culture, and innovation, this project stands as a proud landmark building of Sanya.
