The second edition of Design Shenzhen successfully concluded at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center from March 21-24, 2024. AICO Founding Principal Rudan Ye participated in RIBA's ArchiTech City and Urban Development Forum, addressing future urban complexes. Drawing from AICO's professional expertise, Mr. Ye joined distinguished panelists in examining critical urban development issues including: meeting diverse residential demands through innovative complex designs; leveraging big data and AI to enhance smart city management; and achieving sustainable urban growth through balanced economic, social and environmental planning.

Concurrently, the "Sustainable Urban Renewal" seminar was held at Shanghai's New Bund Center on March 21-22. Organized by Shanghai Exploration and Design Trade Association (SEDTA) with its Urban Renewal Sub-committee and Shanghai TIANHUA Architecture Planning & Engineering Ltd., the event gathered multidisciplinary experts from academia, industry associations, developers, consultants, design firms and investment sectors. Mr. Ye contributed to the " Paths and Strategies for Urban Renewal and Sustainable Development " discussion, sharing AICO's practical experience in revitalizing urban spaces while exchanging insights with peers on enhancing city livability and vibrancy.
